Please join us for a special Watch Party to watch and discuss Crossings, an award-winning documentary by Deann Borshay Liem of Mu Films that follows 30 international feminist peacemakers as they travel to North Korea and prepare to cross the Demilitarized Zone into South Korea to call for an end to the 70-year war that has divided the Korean peninsula since 1953.
The film will be introduced by Martin Hart-Landsberg, Professor Emeritus of Economics at Lewis and Clark College and the author of seven books on issues related to globalization and the political economy of East Asia. He is a member of the Board of Directors of the Korea Policy Institute and the steering committee of the Alliance of Scholars Concerned About Korea, and has served as consultant for the Korea program of the American Friends Service Committee.
